Role Description
The Director of Business Development is a remote role based in one of the following geographic locations: New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and Washington, D.C. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and leveraging professional network to develop swift business relationships resulting in new consulting contracts. The individual will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, analyze market trends, and assist in designing proposals to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- 10 plus years’ experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation strategies
- Expertise in Business Planning and strategic account management
- Successful track record establishing partnership ecosystems resulting in new business
- Engaged enterprise-level relationship network
- Consultative selling expertise
- Executive presence and credibility
- Strong EQ with ability to sustain and grow client relationships
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and apply findings to optimize targeted new business strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in management consulting, sales, marketing or business development is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Finance, Psychology or a related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus
